For solo dog walkers and pet sitters

A dog walking app for a business of one.

Clients book online. Your day is a pickup list on your phone with the route already built. The owner gets a walk report with photos before you are home, and the invoice goes out by itself.

Clients book online and see the real price.

Your walk types, your durations, your travel fee by distance. The estimate at the bottom is the number on the invoice.

Desktop booking flow for a dog walk: a month calendar, walk type tiles, the pickup address filled in, and an itemised estimate showing the walk, the travel fee, tax and the deposit
Walk, travel fee, tax, deposit: every line visible before they submit

A client picks a walk, a date and a time from the slots you offer. Their address prices the travel fee on the spot, so nobody is surprised at pickup, and you are not typing bookings in from text messages at nine at night.

  • Your hours, your slots. Set the window and the increment; the picker respects both.
  • Travel fee by distance. Zones, a flat fee past a free radius, or none. The client's address does the maths.
  • Approve, or let it approve itself for the clients you have already vetted. A deposit or pay-to-book still gates the spot.
  • Recurring walks: Tuesday and Thursday every week, paused on your holidays.
  • Expired vaccines block the booking until the new record is uploaded. Waivers are signed once and versioned.

Your day, in pickup order, on your phone.

One tap opens Google Maps with every stop. One tap tells the next owner you are on the way.

Walker's phone showing a route card: Start Pack Run, the destination park, and a pickup list with Pick Up and Drop Off buttons plus Home Access and Call on each stop
The pickup list
Bottom sheet on the walker's phone asking whether to send an on-my-way push to the next owner, naming the dog and the address, with Skip and Send Push buttons
On my way, one tap

The morning is a list of stops with the gate code and a Call button on every one. Tap Navigate and Google Maps opens with the whole route: your place, each pickup in order, the park. Drop a dog off and the app offers to tell the next owner you are heading over.

  • Multi-stop Google Maps route built from the day's addresses. Voice directions in the truck.
  • On-my-way push with the dog's name, the address and an ETA when GPS has one. Skip it for the client who does not want it.
  • Home access notes, alarm codes and key spots on the stop, not in a notebook.
  • Prefer your own order? Manual routing remembers how you run each weekday and sends nothing until you press the button.

A GPS walk report the owner reads before you are home.

Route, distance, weather, a few chips, your note, the photos. One button sends it and checks the walk out.

Walk Complete screen on the walker's phone: 25 minutes 26 seconds, 1.52 km, 276 GPS points, the weather, the GPS-tracked route on a map, walk-note chips Went Pee, Went Poop, Met Other Dogs and Good Manners, two photos and a Send Walk Report button
What you see at the end of the walk

Start Walk Mode and the phone draws the route and counts the distance. Tap the chips for the things owners actually ask about, add a line, attach the photos, send. It lands in their app timestamped and stays on the dog's history for good.

  • Live GPS route with distance, duration and the weather the dog walked in.
  • Two switches decide what the owner sees. Route map on or off, walk length and times on or off. Off still records the times for you.
  • Photos from the run screen, kept in a gallery for seven days, and a report editor with a record of every edit.
  • Book again sits at the bottom of the report. A good walk becomes a standing Tuesday.

Friday's invoice: 4 walks, $154.00, Pay button included.Auto

Walks bill when they complete. On a weekly schedule they wait and land on one invoice on the day you pick, with a Pay button. Regulars can go on a weekly plan with a per-walk price by how many walks they commit to, invoiced ahead of the week or after it.

  • Card on file and pay links. Square or Stripe. Saved cards can be charged when the invoice is due.
  • Deposits or pay to book, per service, so a no-show costs them and not you.
  • Second-dog discount when two dogs from one home walk together, with a floor you will not go under.
  • Messaging in the app is free and unlimited, photos included. No per-text bill. Texting is optional.
  • Every invoice and payment syncs to QuickBooks Online or Xero.

Mileage that logs itself, ready for tax time.

Walks, drives between clients, the supply run. Tagged, totalled, and priced at your country's deduction rate.

Mileage Tracker screen: miles today, this week and this month, a deduction card at 0.70 per mile with today, month and year totals over five trips, a GPS trip tracker with a Start Tracking button, a manual Log a Trip option, and daily, weekly and monthly tabs
Today, this month, this year, against your rate

Tap Start when you pull out of the driveway, Stop when you arrive. Arrive and check in and the meter hands off to the walk's GPS, then picks back up on the way to the next client. Prefer to type it in? Log the trip by hand.

  • Live distance and speed by GPS, or a manual from, to and distance.
  • Trip purposes: client visit, dog walk, pickup or drop-off, supply run, drive home.
  • CRA, IRS, HMRC and ATO presets, or your own rate, in km or miles.
  • Totals with a trip count for today, this month and this year. The number is ready when your accountant asks.

When you hire a second walker, nothing moves.

The same account grows into pack walks, a walker app and payroll. Your clients and their dogs come along untouched.

The daily walk board for a team: three walker columns with pack walks at 8, 10, 1 and 3:30, each card listing its park, the households on it and the dogs, with a weekly plan strip above
The walk board, when there is a team to put on it

Add an employee and the walk board appears: pack walks with a walker, a time and a park, dogs dragged between walkers, each walker with their own schedule and push notifications, and pay worked out per dog and walk type. It was built with a multi-walker business in Victoria, BC, and it is a different page.

  • Pack walks with capacity, weekly plans for regulars, dogs that do not get along flagged on the board.
  • Walker payroll per dog and per walk type, with a weekly schedule grid.
Read the pack walk page when you are there: Dog walking software for teams.
