Customers book 15 to 60-minute drop-ins, tick exactly which tasks they want done — walk, feed, potty break, litter box, mail collection, security check — and your sitter shows up with the checklist and the door code already on their phone. Dogs, cats, mixed households, recurring weekly schedules, all on one platform.
It's your business. A Quick Check at 15 minutes for "let her out and back in". Standard at 30. Extended at 45 for the cat that needs playtime. Full Hour for the dog who needs the walk. Want a two-hour or four-hour option for the customer who's in the office all day? Add it. Anything from 15 minutes up to 4 hours, named whatever you call it, priced however you price it. Travel-fee config sits on the same tab — Zone Based with up to three rings, Flat Rate, or Restricted (no travel beyond a limit).
Drop-ins aren't one-size-fits-all. The catalog admin gives you three separate, fully editable lists: Dog Visit Services for walks and potty breaks, Cat Visit Services for litter and playtime, Home Visit Add-ons for mail and security checks. Each item gets a name, an icon, a fee — or flip the Free toggle on home items so mail collection is included with every visit, no extra charge. The customer's booking flow assembles itself from whatever you've enabled.
The Services step is where drop-in visits actually differ from a walk or a sit. Customers tick walk, feeding, potty break, play time — whatever fits their pet's day. Home services sit underneath: mail collection ticked, security check ticked, "Check Garage" added because they forgot the door open. By the time the booking lands in your inbox the task list is written. No "what did you want me to do again?" texts.
Most pet care software treats cats as an afterthought. Here, Cat Services are their own catalog — Litter Box, Feeding, Play Time — and a customer with two cats and no dog books exactly the same way a dog-owner does. Home Services sit alongside, with an "Included" tag on the ones you've made free (mail, security check) and a per-visit fee on optional add-ons like checking the garage. Mobile customers see the full menu in one tap-to-confirm screen.
The customer's going on vacation for two and a half weeks. They want a Standard 30-minute visit every day they're away. They tap eleven dates on the calendar, the price-estimate panel sums the whole stretch — 11 days × $25, tax on top, deposit due — and they book the entire stretch as one reservation. No back-and-forth, no manually creating 11 individual visits.
The mobile Confirm screen lays out the whole booking: pets, duration, address, dates, time, "Home info saved" badge. The price breakdown below it has the visit price × days, the extra pet fee, the service fees, tax, and the total. Deposit due at confirmation in the orange alert at the top. One tap to pay and the booking lands on your today view.
Plan the day from the today view — every visit, pricing, tasks, status. Walk out the door, the sitter pulls the same booking up on their phone and gets the Home Access card: door code, alarm code, pet notes, watch-fors and the emergency contact. The thing they actually need at the door, in the format they need it.
Every visit scheduled, status badges, one-tap Complete / No-Show / Cancel. The dispatcher's screen.
Door code, alarm code, pet notes, watch-fors, emergency contact — pulled from the customer's Home step at booking.
Emergency contact rendered as a phone number with the relationship inline. "Mike next door neighbor", not just a digit.
Customers upload at registration. Expired vaccines block new bookings — including in-home visits.
Signed once, stored forever. Versioned so you can prove what was agreed before the first visit.
Charge a deposit at booking, the rest after the visit — or full payment up front. Configurable percentage.
Email + push notifications for confirmations, the day-before reminder, and the visit-complete wrap-up.
One home with two dogs and a cat? One booking, three task lists, one final invoice. Multi-pet fee applied automatically.
Sitter snaps a photo mid-visit, customer gets it. Saves to the pet record, builds a visual history.
Calendar blocks back-to-back visits when the drive between addresses won't fit your buffer.
Customer messages the sitter mid-visit, photos attach. Currently in beta — available as an optional paid add-on.
Every invoice, every payment, every customer — straight to your accounting. GST / HST / VAT codes handled.
Yes. BooknBuddy books timed visits for cats and dogs, gives the sitter a task checklist per visit (feed, litter, meds, play), keeps home access notes on the stop, and sends the owner a report with photos when the visit is done.
Yes. Owners book from your page, the travel fee prices itself from their address, and invoices go out per visit or weekly.
